The purpose of these councils is to promote the fields of Neuroscience and Cognitive Science within the University of Rochester through both educational and community events. In addition, the councils provide students of these subjects with an outlet of social activity and functional networking.

Our next will be an event on Monday, October 12th 6:00-7:30pm in Meliora 269 which all prospective Neuroscience and BCS majors should come! Professors Knill and Nordeen will be speaking about the differences between the BCS and Neuroscience majors. This will be a great opportunity to find out more information about both majors and grab some free Papa John's pizza as well. Hope to see you there!

The BCS Undergraduate Council and NSC Undergraduate Council have now merged into one council. The webpage has gone through some major renovations with much help and thanks to the BCS Department!

  • The Faculty Dinner will be held in the River Room of the Interfaith Chapel on Monday, April 27 from 6pm-9:30pm and has been added to the Event Calendar page
  • The Constitution is in the process of adding an amendment enforcing the council to have at least one officer from both the BCS and NSC majors on the council. The Constitution on the site will be updated once it is officially approved by the student senate

  • The Officers page has been updated and now should reflect the correct officers and faculty advisor
