Research
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester where I work with Robbie Jacobs. Broadly speaking, I am interested in building theoretical/computational models of cognitive and perceptual phenomena. You can check out the papers below to see what I have been working on more specifically. |

I am currently highlighting the following: Prizes, not Patents: Joseph Stiglitz on patents (also read this). Free Software Movement: I support free software (free as in freedom) and so should you!: JabRef, TexMakerX, GNU Emacs, Psychtoolbox, GNU Octave, GNU R. Open Access Publishing: Learn about the open access publication movement. Journal of Machine Learning Research, PLoS Computational Biology, PLoS ONE and Journal of Vision are high-quality open access journals that I follow. |
