I am a research scholar at the University of Rochester, department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, under the supervision of Daphne Bavelier.

I study human decision making with an experimental approach, focusing on the differences between suboptimal decisions based on reasoning and optimal decisions based on visual judgments.

Before moving to Rochester I was a research fellow at the Harvard Medical School, working with Jeremy Wolfe and Todd Horowitz.

During my PhD I worked with Marc Le Menestrel and Rosemarie Nagel at UPF, Department of Economics and Business, with Elisabetta Xausa at the University of Padova, Department of General Psychology, and with Zoltan Dienes at Sussex University, School of Psychology.

My interest in decision making mainly originated from my interactions with my MA advisor in mathematical psychology, Peter Wakker, UvA, Department of Economics and Business, and with Christoph Micko.
