Research

Research conducted by faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students within the Center focus on various aspects of natural language structure and processing, as well as computational algorithms for describing these structures and implementing these processing mechanisms. Both spoken and signed languages are topics of intensive study. Research programs are distributed among several departments whose faculty hold joint appointments in the Center.
