This course engages undergraduate students in the latest developments in vision research here at the University and elsewhere in the world. Students are expected to attend the weekly CVS Research Meeting during which current research projects of the faculty and students of the Center for Visual Science are discussed. They are also expected to attend the Boynton Colloquium Series, in which internationally-known vision researchers from outside the University are invited to speak. This seminar is an integral part of the Research Minor in Visual Science and may be particularly valuable for undergraduates who are considering careers in vision-related fields.
