I: CONTENT

A: Introduction

  • Is the purpose of the paper described?

  • Is there a preview of the problem?

  • Is the topic shown to be significant and interesting?


    B: Body

  • Are the statements made warranted by the evidence?

  • Are multiple sources listed?

  • Is the evidence relevant to the problem?

  • Is the argument consistent?

  • Is lecture and reading material used appropriately?


    C: Conclusion

  • Appropriate summary?

  • Coherent with the introduction and body of text?

  • Are there suggestions for further research?

    A: The overall presentation

  • Easy to follow?

  • Consistent focus?

  • Well organized paragraphs?


    B: Details

  • Grammar appropriate?

  • Words used correctly?

  • Typing errors?

  • Has the paper been proofread?


    C: Honesty in presentation
