Tips on Viewing and Downloading Lecture Notes

Lecture notes in PowerPoint format can be viewed with your web browser by clicking on the linked lecture title, but this depends upon which browser you use and whether it is set up for online presentations. The alternative is to download the presentation to your desktop (just click on the linked lecture title) and view it with Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.

The second option allows you to download a presentation file to your hard drive while online, then use the Viewer to display the presentation either offline or online.

Using the Viewer often provides better graphical quality than browsers do.

The Viewer is freeware and can be downloaded from the following sites:
Macintosh Users: If you have trouble viewing a presentation's graphics, try allocating more memory to the Viewer (mine is set at 25000K).
