Description
This course provides an overview of sensory systems, focusing on visual system, but also covering auditory,
somatosensory, and vestibular systems. The class will provide a multi-disciplinary perspective on key issues of
sensory coding and sensorimotor transformation.
Requirements
Students will be responsible for the readings assigned to each class. Grades will be based on class participation
(10%), and two take-home exams (40% mid-term, and 50% final).
Questions for the mid-term exam will be handed out after the class on 10/14, and they are due before the class on
10/21 (2 PM).
