Career OpportunitiesG raduates of the University of Rochester's Undergraduate Neuroscience Program go on to careers in a number of different fields. The program has proved to be excellent preparation for graduate and professional schools. Approximately 25% of Neuroscience graduates entered professional schools (medical, dental, law, nursing, veterinary medicine) over the past few years; another 20% began graduate programs in a wide range of fields, including anatomy, artificial intelligence, biophysics, business management, neurobiology, and pharmacology. Roughly 30% of recent graduates became employed in fields such as business, laboratory technology, pharmaceutical sales, and technical and scientific writing, to name a few. (The remaining 25% of graduates were uncertain of their career plans at the time of graduation.) |
