Information for Students in the Undergraduate Neuroscience Program

T

he Undergraduate Neuroscience Program Office is located at 102 Meliora Hall in the Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences. Information on the Neuroscience concentration and on graduate programs in neuroscience is available there, as are notices of seminars, colloquia, meetings, and conferences of interest to students in neuroscience. Announcements of summer fellowship and internship programs, including the University of Rochester's de Kiewiet Fellowships, are posted on the boards near Meliora 102. When available, a list of on-campus summer jobs with faculty conducting research in the neurosciences is also posted there, as well as at the BCS web site (http://www.bcs.rochester.edu/jobs/index.html).

Neuroscience major is expected to maintain a 2.0 grade point average in the concentration and to meet with his or her advisor(s) at least once a semester. Should it become necessary to make a change in the program of study, a student must submit a written request for the change, signed by the advisor(s), to the Neuroscience Faculty Advisory Committee for final approval.
