Below we list readings with each class session. Some of them are obligatory (given in italics) and we will assume that you have read them for class. The majority of the readings, however, are optional (though we may recommend them). If you have time, we recommend you read the abstracts of the optional readings. These are empirical papers and reading an abstract will usually give you a good idea what they are all about.
Of course, details may vary depending on your interests. Florian will be away most of the first half of the class. The first half of the class will provide the necessary empirical and methodological background, and the second half of the class will be mostly hands-on applied in class tutorials (plus some homework). Thus, while you read the background literature during the first part of the class, start developing ideas for studies you may want to conduct. The second part of the class will provide you with the necessary methods to investigate factors influencing acceptability judgments. Fortunately for us, there are plenty of unanswered questions ;-).
